Day 17 brought us a thrilling weekend of Top 14 

TOP 14 | RACING 92 - STADE ROCHELAIS : 49-0

A one-way match. With 7 tries scored and a final result of 49-0, Racing 92 was remarkable. The Racingmen scored three tries and tallied a solid 25-0 in the first period before returning to the locker room. In the second half, they scored four more tries against a stunned Stade Rochelais.  

TOP 14 | SU AGEN - ASM CLERMONT : 15-32

One of the great matches of this 17th day. Playing on Agen’s home turf, the Clermontois won with the bonus against a combative Agen thanks to five tries by Abendanon, Moala, Lapandry and a double by Yato. After the defeat against UBB on Day 16, the Auvergnats are back on track.

TOP 14 | AVIRON BAYONNAIS - STADE TOULOUSAIN : 20-10

The Pro D2 champion knocked down the Top 14 champion. At Jean-Dauger stadium, in search of points in the fight for maintenance, the Bayonnais won against the Toulousains with a score of 20-10. Leading at the break, 9-0, the Basques were able to hold on thanks to a try by Alofa at the end of the match and Barthelémy’s boot. It was the second victory in a row for Yannick Bru's men.

TOP 14 | SECTION PALOISE - MONTPELLIER HERAULT RUGBY : 19-15

It is a liberating victory for the Palois against Montpellier. Section Paloise had not won a game since last November, but this invaluable success revived the Béarnais. A try by Corato and penalties by Slade and Hastoy gave Pau the victory. The MHR goes back home with the defensive bonus.

TOP 14 | CA BRIVE-CORREZE - LOU RUGBY : 30-16

Brive is back fighting after taking LOU down on home turf. Authors of a fierce first half, the Brivistes capitalized on the incredible performance of Jurand who scored a hat-trick in the first period. Lyon's comeback in the second half reduced the gap, but the CAB still claimed the victory after two losses in a row.

TOP 14 | UNION BORDEAUX-BEGLES - CASTRES OLYMPIQUE : 26-24

UBB painstakingly wins. Moved by Castres, the championship leaders had to fight until the end to claim victory. Connor and Diaby scored the two bordelo-béglais tries, and Botica and Lucu scored four penalties for the win. For CO, Caminati, Capo Ortega, Nakosi and Jelonch scored, permitting CO to go back home with the defensive bonus.

TOP 14 | RC TOULON - STADE FRANÇAIS : 19-18

What an incredible end to the game. While the Stade Français had just reversed the tendency with tries by Etien and Hamdaoui, the Parisians were on the verge of winning at Mayol. 16-18 in the 80th minute and penalty for Toulon. Carbonel took the ball and aimed towards the goal posts: the young fly-half’s attempt passes, giving Toulon the win 19-18.
