TOP 14 - Day 15 : Summary of all games

Big hits, slick passes and top-notch rugby. Day 15 didn't disappoint.

TOP 14 | UNION BORDEAUX-BEGLES - LOU RUGBY : 37-19

A great performance by Bordeaux-Bègles against Lyon - a match which kept all its promises. Bordeaux-Bègles emerged victorious from this encounter, particularly thanks to Semi Radradra, who scored a double, allowing his team to keep up the fight when Lyon was dominating. A well-deserved victory for Bordeaux-Bègles, who is now in the lead.

TOP 14 | MONTPELLIER - AVIRON BAYONNAIS: 31-29

In an extremely captivating game, with 8 tries by both Montpellier and Bayonne, it was ultimately Montpellier who emerged victorious in this duel. The Bayonnais made Montpellier tremble and will regret having lost this game. Aviron Bayonnais leaves with the defensive bonus, essential for maintaining their position in the league. Montpellier temporarily climbs to 7th place and can thank Nadolo who scored 3 tries.

TOP 14 | SECTION PALOISE - ASM CLERMONT AUVERGNE : 20-23

Section Paloise must be disappointed about the outcome of this game against Clermont, especially because the loss materialized in the last minutes of the game. Clovis le Bail scored a try in the 70th minute, allowing his team to lead by 7 points (20-13). But then, a penalty by Morgan Parra in the 75th minute, in addition to a try from Raka transformed by Parra, allowed Clermont to emerge victorious in the last moments. Section Paloise did not take advantage of the defeat of Bayonne against Montpellier to move up the classification, but did manage to win a defensive bonus point. For its part, Clermont provisionally takes 6th place.

TOP 14 | RC TOULON - CA BRIVE: 34-17

At home, Toulon did the work against Brive, and won with a 17 point victory. Brive could not turn the game around with Ikpefan’s double and Etzebeth who scored his second try of the season. Toulon follows Lyon and Bordeaux’s stellar pace and provisionally takes 3rd place in the ranking.

TOP 14 | STADE FRANCAIS PARIS - STADE ROCHELAIS : 21-20

At the end, Stade Français won against Stade Rochelais. Jules Plisson, who returned to Jean-Bouin for the first time since his departure from Paris, received a yellow card in the 72nd minute which marked the turning point. On a final foul by the Rochelais, Sanchez took the ball and the entire defense back to score a corner try. This was an important victory for the Stade Français who goes back to 11th place, pending the Castres and Agen games. For its part, the Stade Rochelais misses the opportunity to take 4th place, and could see either Racing 92 or Stade Toulousain overtake them.

TOP 14 | SU AGEN - CASTRES OLYMPIQUE : 24-43

In this game between two low ranking teams, it is finally Castres that carries out the best game plan. Castres already had the offensive bonus at halftime - a bonus that was lost for a moment in the second half as the Agenais got back into the game with two tries scored by Berdeu in the 54th minute and Lamoulie in the 60th. But the Castrais were keen to win this game. A penalty try in the 78th minute and Laveau's try at the very end of the match, his second this afternoon, enabled Castres Olympique to win the coveted bonus point. In the classification, Castres goes back to 10th place, only one point away from Brive (29 points).

TOP 14 | RACING 92 - STADE TOULOUSAIN : 30-27

In this Sunday shock, the public witnessed a great match - it was in the very last seconds that Racing 92 won against Stade Toulousain. While the Racingmen were heckled by Toulouse players, Klemenczak delivered the victory at the whistle. Christian Labit’s players had already scored at the end of the first period thanks to Laborde. Racing 92 achieved an excellent victory and took 3rd place in the ranking. Although Stade Toulousain went home with the defensive bonus point, they are now in 8th place and are currently not qualified for the final stages.
