2019/2020 season:

Here are some highlights of the 2019/2020 TOP 14 calendar:

  • The first day of the champions and promoted teams:

In TOP 14, the reigning champion Stade Toulousain Rugby will travel to Bordeaux. Rowing Bayonne Rugby Pro, PRO D2 champion and promoted, will travel to Racing 92. CA Brive Corrèze Limousin, winner of the TOP 14 Access Match, will visit the lands of the Paloise Béarn Pyrénées Section.

  •  Two consecutive trips on D1 and D2 for some clubs:

At their request, the CA Brive Corrèze, the Stade Français Paris, the RC Toulonnais, the Stade Toulousain Rugby will travel during the first two days, taking into account the work in their stadium. As a result, other clubs are hosting on the first two days.

  •   The second edition of Fan Days:

For the second consecutive season, the NRL has scheduled a day dedicated to the derbies and big posters of its championships, an event that made all fans happy in 2018/2019. It is this season scheduled for the spring, during the weekend of April 11, 2020, and will concern the 20th day of TOP 14 and the 26th day of PRO D2.

  • The reunion of the 2019 finals:

The Stade Toulousain will welcome the ASM Clermont Auvergne in its Ernest-Wallon den during the
9th day of TOP 14 (WE of November 9, 2019), a little less than five months after the 2019 final at the Stade de France.

  • Ex Pro D2 teams:

Aviron Bayonnais Rugby Pro will meet again the CA Brive Corrèze Limousin on the 11th day of TOP 14
(WE of December 21, 2019), nearly 7 months after the epic final of PRO D2 which opposed them to the Stade du Hameau in Pau.

  • Boxing Days:

Like last season, TOP 14  will celebrate Boxing Days. In TOP 14, this will concern the 11th day (WE of 21 December 2019) and the 12th day (WE of 28 December 2019).

  • The finals:

Weekend of June 6, 2020: Final of the PRO D2, on a field to be designated Friday, June 26, 2020: Final of the TOP 14 at the Stade de France.

  • Among the events of the season

Monday, August 19, 2019: The Back to School Chat (in the presence of representatives of the 30 professional clubs). Monday 25 November 2019: 16th Rugby Night, at the Olympia Saturday February 1st, 2020: Single stage of the Supersevens, a new professional championship of clubs in rugby 7-a-side, on a field to be designated.
